CRoC works in partnership with a variety of public and private organizations to investigate creative teaching, learning, collaboration, and behavior through rigorous quantitative and qualitative research methods and analyses. CRoC’s main assessment instruments and research methodologies embrace these ideas:
Self-perceptions of one's creativity are critical, yet tell only part of the story;
Actual, demonstrated creative thinking and inventing appraised systematically are vital ingredients of creative assessment
A cluster of socio-emotional attributes support creative behavior - namely orientations to collaboration, empathy, self-efficacy beliefs, and creative approaches to problem solving.
